The Nvidia Ion is perfect for a HTPC when combined with the Intel Atom chip. The Ion is basically a GeForce 9400M chipset that is combined with the Intel Atom for an amazing experience capable of DirectX 10 support, OpenGL 3.2 support, Full 1080p playback, Flash 10.1 with GPU acceleration, and so much more. I have been using an Acer Aspire Revo 1600 for months as my main HTPC. I have it combined with 3 USB TV Tuners and use it as a DVR machine as well as music, video, picture, and movie playback. I absolutely love the ION chip and I love my Revo. Take a look at the amount of different machines that are available and hopefully you will find one just for you.
